The Resiliency ProjectThe Resiliency Project,co-taught with Tamin Totzke, is a movement workshop that is influenced by somatic movement practices, contact improvisation, and principles of Somatic Experiencing and Craniosacral Therapy. A foundational aspect of this workshop is attending to our Social Engagement System (SES), our receptive and expressive interaction system, which exists for building social relationships, encouraging homeostasis and resiliency. Explorations of movement, anatomy, writing, and dialogue will allow us to deepen our inner awareness within a shared experience with others.
Fire, Earth, Metal, Water, Wood…these are the elements alive in nature and within the human body. Through the embodiment and movement of these forces internally, we will cultivate internal and external harmony.
Want a playful tool to pass through a state of mind or emotion? Through awareness, observation, and moving expression of an internal state, we’ll disorient the matrix of energy in space, diffuse its power and reorient into a clearer, more resilient state of being.
BodyTalk and Movement
