I will be performing as part of The A.W.A.R.D Show! at On the Boards (with the Joyce Theater NY) on the DECEMBER 12TH program.
Each night (Thurs-Sun) is a different program of very talented choreographers and performers so come out and cheer everyone on! Sunday the finalists will be called back to perform again and the “winner” receives $10,000 to support new work. You can buy tickets for multiple evenings and get a discount if done ahead of time.
I am not at all competitive in nature so the thought of being in a competition for $10k makes me woozy. Instead, I am choosing to see it as a live grant process where, in addition to a professional panel, my friends, peers, and larger community get an opportunity to see work live and vote for the work they would like to support.
I am truly grateful for the support and encouragement that you’ve given to me over the years and I hope to see you there. It should be an interesting process and a fun event as there are so many different artists being showcased. I am honored to a part of this!
